This is how a Speed Dating Event works. |
Events cost £20 per person. |
The venue doors will open at 6.45pm and Dating will begin at 7.15pm. |
After every five dates there will be a short break. |
Dating will finish by 10.00pm but the venue will stay open until 10.45pm. |
You will be provided with a booklet and a personal number for the evening. |
The booklet has tear out pages that will be collected from you after each date. |
After each date you write down the following: |
The table number |
Your email address, phone number or both
Your dates name |
Your first name |
And mark your date one of the following: |
No not for me |
Yes maybe |
Yes definitely |
Notes |
After tearing out a page there is space left on the stub in your booklet where you can make notes about the dates you meet.
You can jot down their name and a few key words for example: tall, black hair, job type, age etc.
A few simple words can be invaluable the next day, especially if you have been matched and just
can't remember who was who. |
Either 'Yes maybe' or 'Yes definitely' are considered a match. You will receive your matches in a sealed envelope at the end of the event. We do ask that you open them in private after you have left the dating event. |
